Ever think to yourself, “I wish I looked the way they do?”

I have.

Belittling thoughts like this are weeds in the garden of our mind. If we don’t pick them out, the negativity will try to ruin our garden.

“…replace ‘I wish I looked the way they do’ with

‘That person has the body I want. I want to learn what good habits they have.‘”

How do we do this? For starters it’s best to reframe this statement. Instead replace “I wish I looked the way they do” with “That person has the body I want. I want to learn what good habits they have.” By doing this we reinforce positive thinking which ultimately will make us a better version of ourselves.

Perfection is an impossible goal. Being better than the person I was yesterday is all about picking out the weeds and replacing them nourishing positive thoughts.
