Let’s use weight loss as an example. What comes to mind when you think about weight loss?
Think about it. What thoughts cross your mind?
Have you decided that you want to lose weight? If you haven’t decided than stop reading this article. This article is for those who want to lose weight. Those who have 100% committed in their mind they will lose the extra pounds.
In order to lose weight I must make a 100% commitment to myself that I want to pursue weight loss. Otherwise, I’m setting myself up for wishy-washy results.
Five Baby Steps

- Determine what you will give in return for reaching your weight loss goal
- There is no such thing as something for nothing.
- What will you give up in return to hit your weight loss goal?
- What are you willing to sacrifice?
- Pick a specific date on your calendar to reach your weight loss number
- Setting a date focuses the mind.
- It becomes a great motivator.
- Create a plan
- Make a statement
- Draft a clear, concise statement of:
- Quantify the goal you have set
- What you intend to give in return
- The date by which you will achieve it
- Describe clearly the plan through which you intend to attain your goal

Key Elements to Success
If you truly desire to lose weight you will have no problem convincing yourself you will succeed.
Your desire combined with these five steps will ensure your success.
